On this particular early morning, I set out with medium format and digital in hand to capture what I'd hoped to be some of the more beautiful elements of the park this late in the Fall season.

The Meramec River runs through the area, with a set of rail road tracks running along side it. The enormous limestone bluffs are by far my favorite features to shoot in all seasons.  Castlewood has an interesting history, which you can <a href="http://www.mostateparks.com/castlewood.htm" target="_blank">read more about here</a>.
