There was a rumor that the next morning would be a foggy one. I do so love shooting fog. It has the ability to transform almost any landscape into something mystical and beautiful. I rose at 4 a.m the next morning eager to go shoot. Since I live in the city however, I was not immediately confronted with it. I waited around until 5:30-ish, and headed out to Gray Summit, Missouri to the Shaw Nature Reserve, nearly an hour away. I was literally racing the sunrise on my drive there.
